The Port of Skagit owns and operates three key facilities. They include the Skagit Regional Airport, Bayview Business and Industrial Park and the La Conner Marina.

Combined, the three facilities are home to 92 businesses and 1,250 workers. These businesses provide a wide range of goods and services reaching out to almost every corner of the globe. Some provide components to the airline industry, others product yachts and still others support the agricultural industry here in Skagit County.

The Port's mission is Jobs for our Community. In an effort to achieve our mission the focus of the Port for 2008 and 2009 is growing opportunities. The port has begun construction of a new marine-related building at the La Conner Marina to provide growth opportunities to two existing businesses. Soon we will begin work on two T-hangars at the Skagit Regional Airport to provide homes for aircraft who utilize the airport. This fall we plan to construct a new industrial building at the Bayview Business and Industrial Park to allow for growth of an existing industrial tenant.

The Port of Skagit County welcomes additional businesses and commerce opportunities at its three facilities and looks forward to working with our community as we move forward to achieve our mission of Jobs for Our Community.
