Flyers Restaurant and Brewhouse Opens at Skagit Regional Airport

Members of the community join Flyers Restaurant and Brewhouse owners Tony Savoy and Jason Tritt during a ribbon cutting ceremony held Friday, February 5.

Burlington – Oak Harbor-based Flyers Restaurant and Brewhouse has opened a new location on the flight line at Skagit Regional Airport in Burlington.

“The port is proud to be the home to Flyers Restaurant and Brewhouse,” said Kevin E. Ware, president of the port commission.

The restaurant, which is located on Port of Skagit property in the building formerly operated as the Kitty Hawk Cafe, is approximately 3,600 square feet and can seat more than 120 people. Renovations for the new facility included reconfiguring the upstairs bar, removing sheet rock to expose wood beams, painting, and adding additional wood elements.

Owners Tony Savoy and Jason Tritt provided a detailed presentation at a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, February 5.

“We are excited about the opportunity to grow our company in the Skagit Valley. The Port of Skagit is a great place for us to expand our business. The Craft Brewing industry is thriving, and the Port will soon be a destination for beer. From high quality ingredients, brewing education, production and of course our service right here at Flyers Restaurant and Brewhouse,” said Savoy.

Savoy noted there is a lot of momentum surrounding the beer community in Skagit County and he plans to partner with the Skagit Valley College Craft Brewing Certificate program.

“I enjoy helping others learn what I do, and the partnership with the college will help students learn the skills they need to be successful in this industry,” said Savoy.

The new restaurant features breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, approximately 16 beers on tap, full bar, and space available for meetings and parties. Hours are as follows:

Monday – Closed.

Tuesday – Friday, open at 11am.

Saturday, Open at 9am.

Sunday, 9am to 3pm.

Flyers Restaurant and Brewhouse is located at 15426 B Airport Dr., Burlington.
