The Burlington Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Dec. 14 at The Kitty Hawk Café, which opened recently on the flight line at Skagit Regional Airport.
Therese Straight, owner of the cafe, cut the ribbon with Burlington Mayor Ed Brunz at her side and supportive chamber members looking on. Attending from the Port of Skagit were Kevin Ware, chairman of the port commission; Patsy Martin, executive director; and Scott Peterson, director of facilities and operations.
The Kitty Hawk Café is open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week, serving American-style food from sandwiches and soup to fresh-baked rolls and desserts.
