Cub Scouts Visit FedEx at Airport

Members of Cub Scout Pack 4100 of the Boy Scouts Skagit District took a tour of the FedEx facilities at Skagit Regional Airport on Friday, June 8. Tim Walsh, FedEx pilot, and Adam Paulson, local FedEx manager, showed the boys how packages are sorted at the facility and then loaded on a FedEx plane for shipment. FedEx moves approximately 500,000 pounds of cargo through Skagit Regional Airport annually.
