Port Of Skagit Renews Moorage Offer at La Conner Marina

Burlington -- The Port of Skagit has renewed a popular promotion at the La Conner Marina in honor of the Seattle Boat Show.

During the month of February, the Port will offer three months’ free moorage (in available slips and dry boat storage) to new tenants who agree to stay at the marina for at least one year. In addition, the marina will provide one full year of free moorage for boats purchased from port tenants Mavrik, Tomco or Nordic Tug during the month.

This promotion, now in its fourth year, was very successful when the Port first offered it during the winter of 2008-2009 to boost the number of moorage tenants at the marina. During this time, midwinter occupancy rates have risen nearly 20 percentage points, reaching 84 percent in January.

Again this year the marina has a booth at The Seattle Boat Show, which runs through Sunday, Feb. 5, at CenturyLink Field Event Center. La Conner Marina representatives are promoting the moorage offer at their booth during the show. The offer ends February 28, 2010.
