Marina Exhibits at Seattle Boat Show

Seattle -- Representatives from the La Conner Marina and the Port of Skagit administration took shifts at the Seattle Boat Show this week to staff the marina booth. The marina's new full-color brochure debuted at the show, and booth staffers also gave away candy and key floats to the many people who stopped to talk.

The marina staff rolled out two special promotions at the show. One offer, valid through the end of February, is for three month's free moorage with a one-year commitment for boats 30 feet and under. The marina also is offering free moorage for a year to buyers of new boats from Nordic Tug or American Tugs (both Port of Skagit tenants) during 2011.

The Seattle Boat Show, Indoors + Afloat, is the West Coast's Largest Boat Show featuring more than 1,000 recreational watercraft, seminars and the latest accessories indoors at Qwest Field Event Center, plus afloat on South Lake Union. It runs Jan. 21-30.
