Port of Skagit Fills Position

Burlington – The Port of Skagit recently hired a new professional for its administrative team.

Andrew Entrikin is the port’s new Community Outreach Administrator. He replaces Carl Molesworth, who will retire at the end of June.

A resident of Smokey Point, Entrikin brings years of community outreach and communication experience to the port. His most recent experience was with the Lynden Pioneer Museum as a Lynde’ 500 committee member, and has also worked as a Solutions Specialist for T-Mobile. He has a bachelor’s degree in English/ Political Science from Western Washington University and will be completing his Master of Arts degree in Communications and Leadership studies from Gonzaga University this fall.

In his new job, Entrikin’s work at the port will involve public relations, internal communications, and operation of the port’s web site and social media. He will also administer the port’s fiber optics system.
