Port Revises Schedule for 2012 Budget

Burlington – The Port of Skagit Board of Commissioners has approved a revised schedule for considering the port’s 2012 budget. Adoption is now set for Nov. 15, 2011, one week later than previously planned.
According to the revised budget schedule, the preliminary 2012 budget will be delivered to the commission on Oct. 21. Notice that the preliminary budget is available to the public will be posted Oct. 23, and a public hearing to accept comments will take place at the Nov. 8 regular commission meeting. The commission will vote on the budget at the following week’s regular work session.
