Trail Section Reopens at Airport

Burlington -- A section of the Port of Skagit Nature Trails that was closed temporarily to accommodate the Runway 10-28 Improvement Project at Skagit Regional Airport has reopened.
The affected section of trail, from Airport Drive to Crosswinds Drive along Higgins Airport Way on the east side of the airfield, was closed for approximately three weeks while crews installed wildlife fencing.
