Airport Maintenance

Skagit Regional Airport is noted in the aviation community for its neat appearance and upkeep. The Port of Skagit has a crew of five people who take care of the facility.

In addition, the Port of Skagit has a five-year Comprehensive Improvement Program that focuses on maintenance and improvements for the airport’s runways. A major project on Runway 11-29 during 2010-2012 replaced the drainage system, raised the eastern end and converted the surface from a shed to a crown section, bringing it into compliance with current Federal Aviation Administration standards.

Color Palate

Port of Skagit Board of Commissioners has adopted color schemes for buildings at Skagit Regional Airport, the Bayview Business Park, and the La Conner Marina. As tenants consider painting and other building maintenance improvements, they should refer to this color palate during the planning of the project.  For more information, contact Scott Peterson at 360-757-9835.
