Leasing Information

The Port of Skagit works hard to maintain Skagit Regional Airport as a “Premier Destination.”

Aviation-related buildings at Skagit Regional Airport include conventional hangars, executive hangars, T-hangars, the airport terminal building and several buildings housing a variety of commercial enterprises. There are 78 hangar spaces and eight storage units located in seven port-owned T-hangars and three privately owned T-hangars. In addition, several executive hangars and conventional hangars are used for aircraft storage, maintenance or commercial aviation activities. There are hangar sites available for development at Skagit Regional Airport as well

 Buildings available

None currently vacant

T-Hangars Available

The port built new T-hangars on Crosswind Drive in 2008. They are fully enclosed, fire-rated units, with remote-control electric bi-fold doors, fully lighted, gas radiant heat, with shared restrooms available in each building. They’re also attractive and clean. The port's older T-hangars on Flightline Road are a great economical place to store an airplane. To hold a place on the T-Hangar waiting list, pay a one-time-only $25.00 fee (non-refundable) at the time of application. The fee will be credited to the tenant’s account upon occupation of a hangar.

The following port-owned T-hangars currently are available:

Hangar Sites available, Runway 11-29

Runway 11-29 is classified for Corporate/Business use. All landscaping, apron and parking lot maintenance will be the responsibility of the Port of Skagit, with costs included in the tenant’s lease. All construction must meet the minimum standards of the Port of Skagit.

Lot 72

Lot 72 is considered by the Port of Skagit as a key lot for development. This 7.2-acre site will create a “Sense of Arrival” for the airport. The Port of Skagit feels strongly that the development of Lot 72 will set the tone for future development along Runway 11-29.

Current Port conceptual design for this property provides space available for 11 corporate aircraft hangars and a potential site for a fixed based operator. An efficient layout calls for six 13,440-square-foot hangars, four 9,000-square-foot hangars and one 4,800-square-foot hangar. Office and support facilities would be located in a planned 10,000-square-foot, two-story facility.

Lot 53 & 54

Lot 53 and 54 are located at the west end of Runway 11-29 are well situated for future development of the airport. Lot 53 is 2.73 acres and Lot 54 is 3.6 acres; both are ideal for multiple large corporate-size hangars.

Lots available, Runway 04-22 Development

Runway 04-22 is classified for Mixed Use as currently seen on Crosswinds Drive. Mixed Use is defined for development purposes as hangars to house BII class corporate/business aircraft or smaller. Currently condominium corporate hangars, Port-owned T hangars and condominium T hangars plus a fixed base operator operate on Runway 04-22. All landscaping, apron and parking lot maintenance will be the responsibility of the Port of Skagit, with costs passed on in the tenant lease. All construction must meet the minimum standards of the Port of Skagit.

Lots 6 & 21

These 0.7-acre sites are well situated for development of corporate hangars or condominium hangar association.

Lots 7, 8, 9, 15, and 16

These sites are ideal for large corporate hangars with high employment potential such as FedEx, UPS, or aviation-related manufacturing.
